This traditional method sparkling from DK is fabled as its namesake – a black Međimurje dragon, according to local legend – an effervescent expression of Pušipel (Furmint) that’s sure to charm you with its vibrant citrus, brioche, and spicy flavours buoyed by its fine, long-lasting mousse. After a minimum of a year spent ageing in the bottle, its balance of freshness and creaminess will work quite nicely with brunch fare as well as charcuterie, soft cheeses, shellfish – even fish and chips.
