Located on Jastrebac Mountain in Serbia’s Toplica Region, Doja – family owned and operated by Goran and Slavica Todić – has a history of winegrowing and winemaking that dates back to 1895. Its vineyards are planted to both international and indigenous varieties – Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Tamjanika, Prokupac, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. Doja’s Prokupac is the first from Serbia to win the BIWC trophy for best red wine from this native variety in the Balkans.
