Cseernus family winery and vineyards are located in the southern part of the Central Slovak wine region, above the village of Ipolynyék, on the picturesque southern slopes of the volcanic Őr Hill.  Károly Csernus, and together with his son, Károly  strive to showcase the unique flavors given by nature and the minerality derived from the soil in their wines. They have been engaged in winemaking for generations, and they are proud to say that the family has lived in Ipolynyék for more than 400 years while preserving tradition.
