Le Regge is located in the heart of Tuscany only steps away from Greve in Chianti. The estate’s 18 hectares of terraced vineyards span the sides of the first hill that rises just south of Greve, which also houses the owner’s ancient farmhouse. The estate has been owned by the Ferruzzi family since 1989, but Giovanni Ferruzzi, the grandfather of Barbara, who is the current owner, worked these lands in the 1960s as a sharecropper when the estate was owned by the castle of Uzzano. In 1989, his son Gino, a leather craftsman, bought the farm, allowing his father to continue as winegrower. Since 2011, his granddaughter Barbara has taken over managing Le Regge in collaboration with oenologist Barbara Tamburini.
