This Feketeleanyka – or Feteasca Neagra (Black Maiden) – a black grape indigenous to Romania – comes from Transylvania's famous Minis vineyard nestled in the foothills of Arad where the grapes enjoy long sunshine hours on granite-rich soils.
Géza Balla Reserve range is listed as the Top Premium chathegory ranked above the Stonewines. It is made only from the best vintages. Dense and concentrated, the essence of the variety has been put into the bottle.
A highly limited item. It has a strikingly handwritten label which making it undoubtedly exculsive.
Recommended to pair with a Ribeye steak with peppercorn sauce but beef and lamb in all styles also work well.
