Founded by Petar Georgiev and Radostin Milkov, their namesake winery – located in Bulgaria’s Thracian Valley – specialises in local varieties like Mavrud and Rubin that come from 40-year-old Mavrud vines near the village of Novi Izvor and Rubin vines near Brestovitsa. In 2020, they also added another local grape to their portfolio – Red Misket from a vineyard in Prolom. Georgiev & Milkov’s desire is to present a contemporary face of authentic Bulgarian varieties.
