The Frittmann Winery is located in the heart of Hungary’s largest wine region: Kunsag.

A third generation family business, Janos Frittmann was the first winemaker in the Kunsag region to have been awarded “Winemaker of the Year” in 2007. This raised some well-deserved attention to the wines of the area - a breakthrough for the whole region.

The Frittmanns’ goal has always been to use the greatest grape types of the wine region. They mostly use reductive technology for their white and rosé wines, which gives them a distinctive fruitiness. They also produce Ezerjó, Cserszegi Fűszeres and Irsai Olivér, from which the Ezerjó is the flagship grape of their town Soltvadkert.
